Cersaie, the world's most important exhibition of ceramic, tile and bathroom furnishings, will be back in the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 27 September to 1 October 2021. One completely new feature of this 38th edition is Cersaie Digital, which will be online for three weeks from 20 September to 8 October. The exhibitors at the physical exhibition will also be participating in the online event, which is intended to complement rather than substitute the in-person show. In particular, the digital event will fully exploit the potential of information technology, the dematerialisation of information and events and the global reach of the internet to consolidate the role, standing and prestige of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings.
This year's show is focusing on the Italian and international contract sector in the newly launched Contract Hall, a space in Hall 18 devoted to networking between producers, architecture firms and clients operating in the real estate and contract sectors. The Contract Hall hosts leading Italian companies operating in the fields of kitchens, interior and exterior finishes, lighting technology, home automation, outdoor design and wellness with the aim of reinforcing Cersaie’s role as the go-to event for all aspects of architecture, materials and interior and outdoor design.
The Contract Hall has a C-shaped layout, a letter that symbolises the Contract sector as well as the concept of Connection and Concreteness. At its centre stands Archincont(r)act, a 2000 square metre space organised in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Trade Agency ITA and occupied by ten internationally acclaimed architectural firms renowned for their high-quality work in the various areas of real estate.

The architecture firms are themselves taking on the role of exhibitors at Cersaie, further expanding the scope and content of the exhibition together with the investors and contractors visiting the show. Archincont(r)act 2021 is a high-traffic space centred around a Talks Area where a series of events and presentations will be held and visitors will be able to admire the Spa in Outdoor concept presented by the ten architecture firms by means of a mockup.
