Italian Luxury interior design brand Visionnaire recently unveiled their latest capsule collection of bespoke furniture:Starlight, inspired by nature and its expressions. The collection, developed under the creative direction of the brand’s art director Eleonore Cavalli and designed by the Italian designer, Fabio Bonfa. The Starlight furniture collection weaves in creativity through the wide banner of homely living spaces. It also paves way for the artistic endeavours of Michele Astolfi including his latest multimedia artwork, ‘Araba Fenice’.

The Visionnaire designers of Italy tap into nature's elements and aim at incorporating soft volumes, compact sizes and subtle aesthetics in their latest Italian furniture collection. Inspiration for the Starlight collection thrives on the symbolism of the moon gate’s cyclical perfection a circular opening in a wall that is aesthetically incorporated in Chinese architecture. It follows its natural course of opening up living spaces to the world of nature. Alongside, the conceptual figuration of nests portrays protection and creation of life. The symbolism through these natural elements is quite evident in the Bluemine and Khamma chairs which are soft, chic and carry the perception of a gentle embrace.

Further, Visionnaire shifts the focus to the low Trapeze table that is designed to materialise walking in the meditative zen gardens. The table looks like a subtle arrangement of stones over a silent pool of water. Observing the table from an aerial perspective, the symbolic interpretation of the Chinese concept of ‘Yin and Yang’ the ultimate forces of life that are very much contrasting in nature; Is quite noticeable with the soft-cut slabs of marble with wood. The legs of the table shift our focus back to the biomimicry of a reticular nest through the linear parts of interwoven steel.

The luxury furniture giant then gives us two proposals for the dining zone. Following the perfect geometric narrative of a full moon, as observed in the two round dining tables. The tables are made of two contrasting segments of marbles perceiving the full moon which symbolically observes the world beyond physical boundaries and desires.

The Morgan table has a circular top supported on three slender legs; portraying the three-pointed star, an expression of consistent perfection, stability and harmony. The Palace table has two semi-cylindrical elements supporting the marble tabletop.

The Rhapsody sofa is another addition to the collection. Distinguishing its clean and simple design, the sofa showcases a solid external shell with a soft cushioning inside. The exterior body is further finished in either cannete or woven leather. The base is accentuated with a champagne metal profile encompassing the whole piece.

Next in line is the low Majestic cabinet which has an added subtleness to it through its soft edges, draping of perforated leather that is further enhanced with metal borders running along the periphery. The Italian furniture brand, for the bedroom, mimics the embrace of a shell. Le Comte bed stands out with its upholstered elements for the headboard. Lastly, with nature as its muse, Visionnaire brings forth the Ambassador desk with the Sektor armchair. The pieces have been streamlined and display the fluidity of nature and its elements.
