Inkiostro Bianco, the Italian brand recognised for its continuous research between art, design and interior decoration, launches InKids, a new collection designed to accompany children and young people on their growth path. InKids was born from the desire to create environments capable of transforming over time, following the changes, passions and dreams of those who inhabit them. The collection offers a range of wallpapers, decorative Tela wallcoverings and INK.RUGS, designed to stimulate creativity, offer protection and encourage personal expression.
True to Inkiostro Bianco's DNA, which has always promoted the a blend of art and design, the InKids surfaces are the result of collaboration with three exceptional illustrators: Simona Sabatelli, with a narrative and delicate style; Irene Martino, who evokes dreamy atmospheres with soft colours; and Umberto Stagni, who brings energy and dynamism through bold and pop graphic design.
Born in Rome, Sabatelli is the founder and designer of PAWOO Design for Kids, a sustainable design brand for children. While her training in architecture allows her to think about space in an all-encompassing manner, her specialisation in scenography leads her to imagine settings with great artistic impact and to collaborate with companies in the design sector.
Milanese illustrator Martino grew up in a house-atelier, immersed in an artistic environment that deeply influenced her imagination. Her works arise from the encounter between dream and reality, botanical forms and symbolism, giving rise to a visual universe that invites reflection and personal interpretation.
Born in Bologna in 1972, Stagni began his professional experience as a freelancer at various communication agencies. In 2005, he created PastaVolante, a reality all of his own, devoting himself to graphic and communication projects aimed at the constant use of illustration for web design, corporate identity, children's publishing, scientific illustrations, musical artwork, installations and character design. He develops an elasticity of drawing that allows him to adapt various styles in multiple communication contexts.
Three distinct visual languages enrich the product design collection and offer creative stimuli suitable for all ages, from early childhood to adolescence. InKids by Inkiostro Bianco represents a versatile solution not only for home environments, but also for family-friendly educational and hospitality spaces: schools, libraries, playgrounds and hospitality facilities can thus become places of growth and inspiration. InKids is much more than a collection: it is an invitation to imagine, create and grow without limits.
