Returning this year from 7 to 12 June 2022, the globally awaited furniture fair, Salone del Mobile Milano is set to paint the city of Milano with its innovative design scenography. Joining the distinguished company of product innovations and launches will be the Delivery, a collection by Clan Milano. The Brianza-based company embellishes the exhibition space with proposed furnishings, introducing dynamism and freshness in the ambience. An original presentation of the stand marked by the creative visionary Alessandro La Spada, Delivery is a display of an unparalleled design language.
The exhibition environment is reimagined with a goods sorting yard that becomes the symbol for circling back to travel and commercial exchange that persisted before the pandemic. The stand, an artistic installation, will house Clan Milano’s new furniture proposals. The novelties that are designed to be elements for an elegant living area and a snug bedroom appear to be cloaked by the OSB crates between a lacquered forklift and gilded barriers. The varying shapes and sizes communicating different stylistic suggestions is a distinctive concept of the brand’s new proposals.
The first chest for a chic living area conceals within itself the new Puffy seating family, a comforting assembly of rounded shapes with ample padding. The sofa, accompanied by a round pouf with solid legs, and the armchair from the same collection conform to a silhouette of rounded and organic shapes. The Piercing chandelier, a luminescent ensemble of opal bulbs and brass finish, is a modern take on classical arches through the modification of the diameters of the tubular frames. Concluding the look for the living room is the Oblomow mirror, that draws its form from the homonymous seating line, and the Tape Mimetica carpet donning a geometric and vivid camouflage of different colours.
The second box contains a graceful sleeping area where the Oblomow bed takes the centrestage. A notable feature of the bed are the ‘biscuit’ modules, a recurrence of shapes that becomes language and stimulates visual movement. Among the remaining showcased proposals, is the Bavarese line with a ‘greedy’ design. Its shapes, influenced by the renowned French dessert, appear as if they have freshly come out of the buttered and rounded mold, with iridescent lacquers enhancing the look. Apart from tables, the chest of drawers and vanity units are adorned with a dreamy artistic style given by the top, in addition to the undulating shapes. The ‘frosted’ feel visible in the graphics imprinted on glass draws inspiration from the lightness of Magritte's clouds.
Inkiostro Bianco's wallpapers will enhance the scenographic proposals of Clan Milano at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022. The Emilian brand has adorned the inside of the crates with elegant proposals that resonate with Clan Milano's design language.
Clan Milano has devised a visual expression that is lively and irreverent, starting from the presentation of the exhibition space to the furnishing proposals. The Delivery collection, as opposed to just a product or a collection in the foreground, is composed to be full of meaning and value that consequently aims to be instrumental in strengthening the global impact of the Milan Design Week.
