CGN was one of the participant design galleries of MDF Mexico Design Fair’s first edition in May, 2021, in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Unseen pieces designed by Gabriel Rico, Liliana Ovalle, Carlos Torre Hütt, Edgar Orlaineta, Perla Castañón, Agustín Solórzano and Valerie Fischer were presented in this first edition of MDF, an occasion that started to pave the way for Puerto Escondido to become a design destination. Casa Naila, located in rural community Puertecito and designed by architect Alfonso Quiñones from BAAQ’ architects, was the event’s main venue.
