Andreu World and STIR invite visitors to meet Benjamin Hubert, the founder of LAYER, and discover his new collections for Andreu World at the London showroom. Join the conversation followed by a walkthrough with the designer exploring their latest designs created within the circular economy and focused on enhancing well-being and making a positive impact.
The event is on September 18, 6:00pm at the Clerkenwell flagship store. Hubert will be in conversation with Anmol Ahuja, Features Editor at STIRworld.com
Unveiling at LDF is the Calma Lounge collection, one of the new 2024 launches that consists of a line of reclining armchairs adaptable for corporate and domestic spaces. These recliners offer a welcoming design and an optional wider headrest for added privacy. The padded interior and wrap-around armrests provide all-around comfort. 
Calma Lounge is 100% manufactured for the circular economy and is Cradle to Cradle® certified. Its design completely dispenses with the use of glue, which facilitates individual removal of the upholstery for washing, replacement or upgrading. This feature makes maintenance easier and allows the chair to be disassembled at the end of its life cycle, facilitating recycling and the separation of all its components
The event will be held in Andreu World's new showroom in London, which will be open throughout the week of the London Design Festival, 14-22 September. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the London flagship is a 400m2 space divided into two floors and built under the premise of sustainability, using recycled and recyclable materials.
